Wonderful Anime

The anime in a whole is awesome; wonderful graphics, soundtrack, and plot. Although, for me at least, it's the type of anime you can only watch once, because after that, all the suspenseful feelings are gone, since you know what happens.

Don't hesitate in watching this anime, even though it may be somewhat hard to follow for an episode or so. My suggestion for that is you reread the summary after each episode, and it will become clearer.

The only thing I didn't like was the ending. It was done beautifully, but it doesn't feel like the type of anime to end that way. I wanted something a little more... realistic.

Blurb?

Whoa, the "briefs" mentioned in the blurb, that is actually part of the show or is it just some crazy "translation" of "beliefs" in engrish?

It was a really good anime, the music, the animation, even the japanese history were mixed beautifuly. Some other series have been placed in the same line (the end of the Edo Period) but this is the only one that has taken advantage of it when it comes to the plot.

I really liked it, except for the end... I had expected something a little bit more realistic.

Great, but...

for some reason i can only watch 1 or 2 episodes of this anime at a time. even though it is such a great anime, i get bored of it quickly and have to take a week or 2 break before watching anymore. maybe it has too much history lessons for my taste. idk
