Wicked!

This anime is great! Before I watched my first episode of Beet the Vandal Buster, I didn't want to have anything to do with anime's with subtitles, but after watching this at a mates house I couldn't help myself but download episode after episode of anime. This show is awesome and I would reccomend it to people who are into RPG's because the leveling up system brings a unique feeling to the show.

Predictable, but good

Yes, you can predict what happens almost down to the letter, but the story is well told and the characterizations are good. It also has times where it is quite funny.

I liked the fact that the entire series is kind of like an RPG with the whole leveling up and whatnot.

The series is fun as long as you don't expect it to be mind-blowingly original or extremely violent. It is something fun that can be watched and enjoyed by a wide variety of ages.

If you like this, I don't like you

This anime is a bunch of decade old jokes piled on top of repeatedly abused character and plot settings, which just laid there and stank for 52 weeks.

Enjoyable

It's a good anime, no matter how "typical" it's plot may be. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Note: Theme song does kinda bite. :(

Starts slow but is always great

Beet's plot may seem like other anime, but it has a unique feeling to it as well. Beet has your standard hero feeling to him, but his weakness is revealed much earlier than others. They show him gaining rivals here, and his mission is revealed. I only hope they can eventually finish the story.
