Really Good

It started out pretty slowly but it gets better and better. I hope they make anothee BJ series.

A modern classic!

Unlike the previous series, Black Jack 21 combines chapters of Osamu Tezuka's original stories about the medical mercenary with a new plot tying the story together, a definite must-watch for BJ fans!

Surprising!

I haven't finished the series yet, but I'm up to episode 12. Although I thought the series started off pretty slowly, it picks up its pace quite abruptly in about the 4th episode (can't tell you exactly when but thereabouts. I liked the overall suddeness of action, it's left me on the edge of my seat.
The characters are likeable, nothing too special though, I don't really find myself thinking of a 'favourite' character. It's a great balance between seriousness and fun.
I suggest everyone watch at least 6-7 episodes before judging and thinking whether to go on or not. I'm glad I did.

I like it cuz It is one of the grearist Osamu Tizuka characters

Pretty darn good...

I recognize the artwork from the previous Black Jack series, though a tad more cartoony this time around....not quite as mature...

Anyways, the characters are the same and entertaining as always, their motives fun to piece together, and there's plenty of action, intrigue, mystery, and romance to go around.

Not sure first-time anime fans will enjoy this as much, but anyone who likes medical mystery dramas, come and take a look!
