Black Lagoon
When Okajima Rokuro visits Southeast Asia carrying a top secret disk, he is kidnapped by pirates riding in the torpedo boat, "Black Lagoon". Although he thought he would be rescued soon, the company actually abandons him, and sends mercenaries to retrieve the secret disk. He narrowly escapes with his life, but has nowhere to go. He gives up his name and past, and resolves to live as a member of the Black Lagoon.

What can i say. The action combined with the characters (particularly Revy) fueled the fairly mundane plot into an excellent watch. Would love a third season...

Nice art and characters, but the story is one of an american generic mafia tv series. All in all, im satisfied. 4/5

The plot, the action, the characters, the music, everything about this anime is plain awesome! I'm just stunned that it isn't as popular as other animes, because this by far is one of the best there is to watch. Its like cowboy Bepop except you get to see the pansies get their heads blown off for no real reason. I'd love to see some more show like this, that show the bad guys point of view and glorify it by bringing to light the hypocracy of those who claim to be innocent.
