Blood+
Throughout the passage of time and the shifts in backgrounds, a particular war continues to leave its mark on history, extending its influence into the modern world. There are two major groups involved in the ensuring war. The first group consists of monsters known as Chiropterans who can change their appearances into that of human beings. They are actually immortals who feed on the blood of the living. The second group is an organisation known as the "Red Shield", formed to track down these monsters and exterminate them. Otonashi Saya is a high-school girl who lives a peaceful life with her family. The only problem is, she has no recollections of her life beyond that of the past year. However, her happy life will be destroyed by an event that will lead her to her destined fate.

Pretty good
Well this is nice a new vampire series. Blood+ is very nice but is limited. The fight choreography could have had some tweaks and a bit more explaining early on would have helped. Even ss this series plays out well and is a welcome addition to the vampire series.
WORTH WATCHIN'
R U SEARIOS DUDE, I READ A LOT OF VAMPIRE STORYE, BUT THIS ANIME HAS THE MOST BUTIFUL STORY I EVER SEEN...IT’S SO ORIGINAL N REALY COOL..THU I HAVE 2 SAY THAT I WAS NOT HAPPY WHEN RYKO DIED…I MEAN WHY DID THEY HAVE 2 KILL THIS INOSENT KID..WHY!
PS: THE FIRST 2 SEASON WHERE REALY LAME...LOL, BUT IT'S WORTH WATCHING!
Interesting but.......no good
I saw Hellsing and couple other anime before seeing this anime and honestly, I have seen a lot better animes then this one, I also think the main character is kind of a pain regardless of the situation. Although I wouldn't mind her guardian, that guy is awesome!
Rocky start...
Just at the beginning of the second episode...I was really disappointed. Turning into a "vampire" suddenly makes Saya a gifted swordswoman? But of course! All vampires are naturally gifted in Iaido, Kenjutsu, Fencing, and Acrobatics. Just natural. But, the anime gets better.

I was so waiting for this show to suck, but I was totally surprised.
It was a great show...the ONLY thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is that they dropped the ball on so many fight scenes. They'd shown in earlier episodes that they were capable of great fight choreography, but they never upped the ante...they actually regressed! BUT you know it's a great show if this infuriating fact didn't prevent a 4 star rating!
This show is well worth your time. Watch it!

Yep, this anime was very interesting. It has a very original story, so it should be difficult for you to know what will happen next, and that is always a good thing.
Mind you, the first 13 episodes are rather dull and confusing, but after that it becomes enjoyable to watch.
I would compare this anime to Eureka 7 in terms of greatness: It is definitely worth watching, but only once. The last episode almost made me cry! ... and it is pretty hard to get me to that state! Don't worry though, the ending is not negative. If it was, I would have bashed this anime sensless in this review and given it only 2 stars! I hate any movie/anime/show with a bad ending! it ruins the whole experience! like Evangelion!
It was ok
When I started waching it I didn't like soo much but in time it became interesting. Nice though........
This anime has a very slow climaxing time to get to the point of it all.. But i recomend this anime to those who like drama/romantic/vampire/blood.. It has its moments.. :)
