Mind Boggling
I thought it would be equally confusing as Serial Experiment Lain but the 1st ep was still relatively alright to understand. However, it does seem to have an underlying storyline going on, with the appearance of the strange character, the rather elusive Boogiepop Phantom. You do need some patience (and prob a few repeats) to at least understand the remaining show.
Production values is rather mediocre tho', the animation doesn't grab your attention too much, really simplistic designs. Even the so-called spooky elements are animated weakly, that's some of the weaker pts about it.
PS: Note that the OP is sung by Suga Shikao, the guy who also did OPs for XXXHOLiC (The OP animation even have butterflies in it, similar to the one in XXXHoLiC)

Heavy Duty Anime
This is 1 of the animmes where you have to be 100% full of caffine awake to watch. The plot can get rather confusing because it doesn't follow a linear time-line. But, its worth it. Very original story. Spooky as well.

Pretty Dang Good
Hey I saw this on TechTV(now G4techTV)and I got really into dis anime. Its a more of a late night anime for me but it might be diffurnt fo anyone else. Its chars. are pretty basic there is realy no story line. But its for the most its a little creepy BUT I LIKE IT!!!haha. Seriouslly its good. its old but tigtht its not one of the hardcore gimmie HOTE big Boobed animes but there is one scence were a boy thattakes away bad things that are on a persons conscience and the why he does this is he sees invisable spiders around peoples heart and he reaches for the black widow spiders and eates them. For some reason he becomes idicted to the spiders like there a drug and cant stop.Until Boogie((the hot chick) shows.Well surry bout tha spoiler but I do like to go intil a lil' detail to draw a few anime-eden members into the anime but overall I give this anime a 3 1/2 out of 5

to be honest, i watched it the first time and i was like wth is going on, all those names confused me, i have trouble remembering names xD and i was scratching my head throughout the entire series, after finishing it, i was intrigued by the parts i didn't understand and had to watch it again, it's a good anime though, just a bit confusing and they throw names at you so when you're watching this be sure to pay attention to the characters' names and their faces or it'll only go downhill from there like it did for me the first time i ran through it
