Busou Renkin
One day, Muto Kazuki, a high school boy, tries to save a girl being attacked by a monster, though in the process he was stabbed by the monster. The next morning, he awakes to find he is alive. Wondering if everything was a dream, he runs into the same girl who explains him that the monster is a Homunculus made by alchemy. She also tells him that there is a Kakugane, an alloy made by alchemy, in place of his heart. And contained in it, a weapon used against the Homunculus.

Dont get the point of the Weak Girl after all Tokiko is quite Strong all over the Series ^^
cant really make up that much connection between Bleach and Shakugan no Shana
especially in Shakugan no Shana the Boy gets strong after more then 20 Episodes and still not even close to the Girl
but Overall its really a Nice Anime
the Story is quite Good i couldnt stop Watching before i completet it
completly banned me :P

This is not just a bleach, fma, or shana ripoff
It is a lot like bleach, with the weapons and two main characters. The begginning is incredibly close to bleach: Strange girl saves boy, boy gets cool weapon, has amazing natural talent, and then has to protect now-weak girl. The idea of the weapons is just like in bleach, where they change form depending on the person using it.
However, I don't think of it as a ripoff, but as a nice change. The battles never take more than an episode, and it ends at 26. Its a nice break from bleach or fma where it seems to go on forever.
Most characters are based more off Rurouni Kenshin, which is by the same author.

At last an anime with good ending.Stop comparing it with bleach and FMA,different story...Its funny and has a lot of battles,and it was never boring compared to some others.I suggest you to watch it coz it worths it!!But its pitty that is only 26 episodes;)

Interesting Elements used in Series not seen very often.
Particularly about how Kazuki can be so humourous, serious, and teasing at the same time. LAWL to Makiko's "Laugh at everything at amusement park" compared to Okakura's "Freak out at everything at amusement park". Tokiko's reaction to jokes is such a great follow-up, Kazuki and Tokiko does fit as a joker couple. BUT. ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS IN THE WHOLE SERIES IS FREAKING CHOUNO KOUSHAKU A.K.A PAPILLION. HE'S SO GREAT THAT I DON'T WANNA SPOIL YOU ON HIM.
Also love Comedy-based godly characters like Shousei. His madness laughter while punishing the others is simply PRICELESS!
Last thing. For people who have extremely high expectations on ending quality, the ending follows a "EVERYONE WILL BE HAPPY LIKE BARNEY AND FRIENDS =D" type. Therefore, if you hate such endings and would prefer a few sacrifices, please be cautious while watching this anime.
I believe this anime progresses in a childish way. It is the first time I see an anime when the main character Obtains a power and ALREADY knows how to use it in less than 5 seconds!
I felt totally stupid for watching that xD
