Chobits

In the future, virtually everyone has a persocom, a personal computer in the shape of a beautiful, obedient, and fully functional humanoid girl. Meet Chi, a low class persocom that cannot connect to the Internet, exchange information with other persocoms, or do word processing. One day after work, a poor 19 year old virgin named Hideki Motosuwa finds Chi wrapped up in large bandages and surrounded by many trash bags. Finding himself very lucky to discover a persocom that didn't have an owner, Hideki decides to keep Chi. Soon after bringing Chi home, Hideki finds out that there might be more to Chi than her child like personality lets on.

It was the only anime in all my anime watching history that made me *almost* cry. Please note, I am definitely not the type of person who cries from watching movies or tv shows but I have to admit, I really *almost* couldn't hold it in. If it was alittle longer. then maybe, just maybe, a tear might've came. Its one of the best out there if you find it

Well in the beggining it is pretty obvious that the story is the writer's DREAM or fantasy. But it is very funny, and the story for each character about persocons amazed me, and still it turned out to be a good anime!!! It's pretty funny too, like when sumomo shorts out etc. And the ending is good too, they really packed the story. very recomendable!!!

I found teh serie on youtube somewhere Sept. 2006 and I was hooked ^^ it was my first anime I saw and since than I have been watching^^ I now ahve watched 73 series and 8 movies, I also have downlaoded some more than 303 GB of anime ^^ and got to know some other good series like Eureka Seven, Fate Stay Night, Mahoromatic. but it all started with Chobits and I still love it ^^ it is with Eureka Seven on my 1st place ^^ if there would be a 6th star I would give it ^^.

Chobits was my first anime that I watched on the computer and I watched it with one of my friends.

I don't remember much about it, except that I liked it. I'm not a romance fan, but I found Chobits to be very enjoyable even though romance is one of it's genres.

it's a great series, but for those who can't BT or don't have the money, are going to get left out of a really good series. I wish AS would show this instead of Death Note, or another rerun of some old anime. If you have a chance to see this, don't pass it up!!
