Hayao Miyazaki meets Diana Wynne Jones? It doesn't get much better than that.
However, some advice. If you haven't read the book or seen the movie yet, see the movie first. That way you can enjoy Miyazaki's twist on it before delving into the more thorough book.
Either way though, I recommend both.

of course howl's moving castle is a great animation movie luckily I saw it on tv before cause i was downloading it from here and then at half of the download it closed and i found it downloaded but then at the 24th minute it stops and doesn't complete !!! so if u plz answer me back !! cuz i really like this movie !! thank u
