super ultra amazing

this movie was way too good far beyond imagination. the technology displayed in this anime movie seems so advanced and the story is done beautifully. it seems just like disney's atlantis but this is about 10 times better comparing the year this anime built which is in 1986. i really2 like it. it is worth 10 out of 5. miyazaki is a totally genius.

Miyazaki is simply a genius!

Miyazaki is my favorite animation screenwriter. Spirited Away, Nausica of the Valley of the Wind and Laputa Castle in the Sky completely captured my heart. The intense emotionality of the masterpieces brings happiness and tears to the viewer!

f you dont like anime, this is ur lucky chance! Mayazaki's work is nothing like regular anime!

Use your brains when you watch movies!

I love Hayao Miyazaki, but in general I don't like anime. Why? Because modern culture is obsessed with action and has lost the beauty of character developement. We've traded in great movies like Casablanca and Citizen Kane for the Matrix and 300. The problem with action movies is that they aim to thrill, and time will destory their memories in our minds as we will find newer, better, more realistic thrills. However Miyazaki is the Orson Welles of animation in that his films will far out last any modern contrived action film that Japanimation or Hollywood will throw at us in the days to come, and his characters will always leave a permanent, enduring impression in our hearts.

Great movie

I Loved this movie, but if you think that 100kb/s is slow you should try the 12-15 that I can dip down into.

Laputa

*Blink blink* Wow, no one has reviewed this yet? Lets fix that, shall we?

Laputa - another masterpeice by Hayao Miyazaki, a VERY well known anime movie maker. Watching something that he has made is like being swept through five or six different fairy tales - at once.

Laputa itself is one of his better works, almost as good as Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away (At least IMHO) - the only real issue I could have with this movie is with the quality of animation, and even that is pretty good considering its age.
