Slam Dunk

Sakuragi, a high school freshman who was dumped by 50 girls in junior high, joins the basketball team to get close to Haruko. Team Captain Aragi, Haruko's brother, notices Sakuragi's potential and continuously hounds him to keep training in order for him to play basketball, but Sakuragi is oblivious to the idea of training (even though he is a beginner) and believes matches are won with slam dunks. The story continues as Sakuragi begins to enjoy basketball and starts to learn how to play the game properly.

this is one of the all time best animes, the most amount of character developement i've ever seen in an anime. Hands down.

however on the side note the autur puts me off a lot since hes a well known yaoi and yaoi hentai artist. tut tut you ruin ur name mr t.

No super powers, no supernatural beings. Just plain high school kids competing in a sport they love most. Inspirational in a way.

Awesome characters and character development. Cute chibi bits, and pretty funny. A bit on the slow side, but it follows the manga very closely, except it ends earlier than the manga.

A must watch.
