Ah! my goddess

It is old fashioned, like it was 20 years ago. But is not old. Please don't trash or bad-mouth this one,it is my favorite. It touched me,specially when I was at a bad place. Too bad the anime still lacks something I haven't identify yet, but, then again. I recommended it to everyone I've met. It has deeper sense that it seems, and yet it is silly and enjoyable. This is for those who haven't read it, for those who have, I am preaching to the converts -no need to-. :-)

I wish it already reach the climax ending of beauty!
After volume 32 I am really tired in following the manga anymore.

Even so, I cannot resist in reading more!! The plot is really simple, but the mangaka is beyond magnificent!!!

Please end this on volume 50 or so, else the story would be too long!

It's kinda a shame

I'm not sure how the manga lasted since the 80's.
The gets far better as the series goes on, but the heart and soul of this manga, namely the romance, not only takes a back seat but seems to be frozen in time, never to breathe again.
In short, none of the newer arcs do *anything* about furthering the relationship of the protagonists.

Mixed Reactions

The only thing bothering me about this series is that the story weakens as the art gets better. I'm starting to wonder if Kousuke Fujishima is still willing to go on with the series. Though I don't wish for him to end the series, I just hope the story takes a lighter turn rather than stick to the exaggerated amounts of fanservice.
